Happy Hump Day, everyone!
I hope you're still well.
The big news for today is that Cornell has gone test-optional for next year. Sort of! They've made it clear that they'd still prefer scores, but they will be flexible if students are unable to submit them. This is absolutely a step in the right direction!!
Even bigger news........
I'm doing a webinar tomorrow!
While I've already shared the most important updates (AP, SAT/ACT, P/F grading models, virtual visits) in previous emails, I know that many of you have more questions. It's also nice to hear what's on others' minds.
Two notes about the Zoom: if you have a question you're dying to get answered, feel free to email it to me ahead of time-like now while it's on your mind. Second, some have mentioned wanting to remain anonymous in the Zoom. So, I enabled the functionality that allows you to change your name before you enter the room.
I hope to see many of you tomorrow. Stay tuned for future Zoom announcements. While several of you have already started the Common App, I will likely do a virtual session in the weeks ahead. Feel free to let me know if there's another topic you'd like covered.
As always, please be in touch with any questions.
Stay safe.
Reena
